Counts cover connections open now, since each connected, and are taken when this Gateway accepts a share, before it is forwarded to the pool. The work credited to your address at the pool is at most the figure addressed to your address here; a share the pool does not accept is counted here but not there. The pool pays an address only from blocks it finds, and only when the address's credited work reaches the pool's minimum payout; work below that minimum in a block is not carried to the next.
